Prop, Lock & Drop It

Luka Doncic is playing like a man possessed with many talents. The main one is cashing prop bets on PrizePicks. Doncic is currently sitting at a PAR of 46.5 on PrizePicks. In 4 of his last six games, Luka has gone for 50+. Tonight he plays Philadelphia, who has been struggling as of late. In his only game against Philadelphia this year, Luka put up 33 points, 13 rebounds, and 15 assists (61 PAR!!). I would be building a play or two around Luka because while Joel has kept big men in check in the frontcourt, the backcourt has been struggling.

Adams Traded to Las Vegas!

Davante Adams has been TRADED to the Las Vegas Raiders, and what exactly does that mean for fantasy football? Carr & Adams were teammates at Fresno State. There will be familiarity right out of the gate for the two playing together on Sundays. Adams also received a 5-year extension worth nearly $150M. That long-term commitment tells me everything I need to know about how he will be utilized for the Raiders. Carr threw the ball almost 630 times last year and plays in the toughest division in football; we should see Adams eclipse 150 targets which would yield roughly 105 receptions, 1270.5 Yards & 11 TDs at his career averages (70% catch rate). Which, in my opinion, is very conservative for a player of his talent.

Allen Robinson is a player many fantasy gamers and NFL fans have been waiting on to find a home and a quarterback now has both. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams because "F them picks" is not just a way of life; its the only way. Tied to Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp to free up coverage, there should be plenty of opportunity on the Rams for Robinson. It isn't easy to project a role for him going forward with a 3-year deal worth $46.5M. He won't be the guy week to week, but like Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, two guys can coexist on a high-powered offense. The fantasy upside of Robinson is massive, especially when it comes to touchdowns. He may not have breakfast every day with Stafford, but he can still go up and catch a touchdown pass. I would project him to fill the Odell Beckham role, which was a great spot even for half a season and into the playoffs, so Robinson should thrive and be a great asset if you're still holding on for dear life.

Overview of 2022 Rookie Runningback Class

This week, we will be looking at twelve of the RB prospects in the 2022 Rookie Class.

Five of six RBs posted a Speed Score above the 75th percentile! Dameon Pierce didn't score that well, but his Speed Score of 98.2 is still slightly above average.

Three of these RBs broke out (dominator rating of 15% or higher) during their first collegiate season: Breece Hall, Cam'Ron Harris (no birthdate currently to account for age), Isaiah Spiller. Two of those three are near-consensus top 3 RBs, but Cam'Ron Harris is rarely being drafted in our Superflex Mock Drafts. He might be worth watching as we enter the final stretch of the NFL Draft process.

A few other key takeaways:

  • Abram Smith converted to LB for his final season, so his breakout age and year are very high relative to the class.

  • Breece Hall's ADP of 1.01 is justified across the board.

  • D'Vonte Price is another one to watch out for. With his size, speed, and some receiving work, he could carve a role into an NFL offense.

  • The Isaiah Spiller hate has gone way too far. He has checked every box along the way (while producing in the SEC); don't let his NFL Combine opt-outs cloud your judgment.

A No-Name QB from Montana? Not for Long!

Remember the name Reed Harris. Do you want a QB that occasionally plays safety and hits guys with the force of former USC Trojan Taylor Mays? Reed Harris out of Great Falls, Montana measures in at every bit of 6'5, 202 lbs and is a monster on the field.

Reed is not only a chiseled athlete but a big-time quarterback who runs a 4.48s 40-yard dash. This shows up in his play on the field, both on offense and defense. As the top recruit in Montana, he doesn't get much love on the national stage. This will change and already has started to shift with Oregon State becoming the first PAC-12 school to offer him a scholarship.

People might not know him now, but Harris's physical tools and competitive spirit to the gridiron are special. I'll honestly believe that we are watching a future NFL player just figuring things out.

This week @TheBenEby visits the “50-yard line of America” to find you speed, speed, and more! The region we reviewed included Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The theme? BLAZING SPEED.

Adam (@atm4dchess) and Michael (@iowamichael) walk through the 4D way to approach your startup draft and adequately assess the value and what your league-mates are doing.

Gene @FantasyGenes and Ike @Just_Ike09 wrap up the position tiers series with TEs. They discuss how the top 3 TEs in total YAC (Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, George Kittle) finished in the top 5 in fantasy points. Is Kyle Pitts a Tier 1 TE? Will Dawson Knox see regression, or is he just good at scoring touchdowns? Bounce back from Darren Waller? Thoughts on current FA landing spots & more.
