Antonio Gibson Rushing Yards Total 🔒
The Antonio Gibson hate has gone too far. Just 3 weeks ago, PrizePicks had his rushing yard total line set at 1050.5 yards. I know the Commanders drafted Alabama rusher Brian Robinson and re-signed 3rd-down back J.D. McKissic, but damn do you really think Gibson is dead? I don’t! The reality is he probably will never get the receiving work we want him to receive, and he could potentially lose goal-line work to the rookie, but Gibson IS the starter and will receive the bulk of the work in 2022. If you have the conviction on Gibson, this 850.5 rushing yard total should be a smash OVER. If you think he’s toast, I still wouldn’t feel good about placing an UNDER bet on this line - I would stay away. If you do want in on the action. Click that big button above to get in!
Michael Pittman Jr. Year-3 Star In the Making
With 14.0 PPG during his second year, Michael Pittman Jr. falls into the “tier 1” WR bucket in our decision tree prediction model, which tries to predict Career PPG, using past production metrics. The main threshold between tier 1 and tier 2 is whether or not the WR surpassed 11.0 PPG during their second season in the NFL.
Explanation of Tree: The model was built using all drafted WRs from 2017 through 2019. Each circle shows the % of the sample that fell into that category (bottom %) and the average PPG for that % of the sample (top number). The goal is to get as far down to the bottom as possible by asking yes/no questions at each node (in bold, under the circle). If yes, go left. If not, go right.
WRs that fall into Tier 1 bucket (Career 13+ PPG): AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Cooper Kupp, DJ Moore, Terry McLaurin, Chris Godwin, Deebo Samuel
WRs that fall into Tier 2 bucket (Career 7.8-12.9 PPG): Curtis Samuel, Zay Jones, James Washington, Darius Slayton, Auden Tate, Anthony Miller, Parris Campbell

2023 ADP observations from The Berry 🍓 (@DynastyBerry83)
As we wrap up another 2023 rookie mock, Marvin Mims’ ADP continues to rise with this summer heat. With an ADP of 19.7 in July, the Oklahoma wideout has gained a full round of value since June and is the single biggest riser in the class to date. Last season he put up 22.0 YPR, good for top honors in the Big 12, but looking deeper at his game logs the sophomore receiver tends to disappear from week to week and never posted more than five receptions in a game in 2021. I would like to see Mims seize a larger role in his junior campaign to justify his current ADP. Otherwise, he has the makings of a boom/bust undersized WR at the next level.
Most experts are projecting six or seven first round QB’s in the 2023 NFL draft, which should lead to six or seven QBs to consider in the first round of our rookie drafts. CJ Stroud, Bryce Young and Will Levis have become household names and appear to be locks for first round capital. Anthony Richardson has all the physical tools we look for in a konami qb and even he can barely scratch first round ADP in our mocks. After Richardson, we have Tyler Van Dyke sitting at 15.9 and then a massive drop off into the late 20s and 30s. Devin Leary, Cameron Rising, Jaren Hall, Spencer Rattler and many others continue to be dogged mock after mock, the list goes on and on. When it comes to quarterbacks in fantasy football a popular theme tends to be “follow the draft capital.” Our ADP is capturing this concept pretty clearly in my opinion, that without knowing the capital we just won’t take the risk, most likely due to recency bias on the ‘22 class getting no capital and the ‘21 class largely disappointing so far versus the hype surrounding them.
🚨TRADE OF THE WEEK 🚨
This trade is brought to you by the good people of DD in our exclusive trade channel where we only post and discuss dynasty trades. The basics here are 12-Team Dynasty Superflex Tight End Premium. I understand getting the high-end assets in Javonte and CeeDee Lamb, but AJD, Akers, and Chris Godwin seem like a nice return for the top side. You throw in 2 picks in the 2023 class and now have 5 assets traded for 2. I can see the angle for both sides, if this were my team I think I'd prefer the side that acquired the players and the picks, but I can see this going either way. Both teams probably got better by doing this deal.

Beyond the Mic🎙
Time to move on from Chris Godwin? Let’s Ask @IowaMichael aka. McNutted
"Trading away Chris Godwin is still sacrilegious in the Dynasty Community. We noticed that many are still looking through rose-colored glasses in regards to the 2022 season. I’d approach Godwin with “cautious optimism” at best. 2-3 year window squads will be fine, but the 2022 all-in contenders window for pivoting is closing fast." Off-The Line - In or Out on Antonio Gibson? Here's what @FantasyGenes has to say.
"In redraft, we have seen his ADP dip quite a bit as he’s currently RB19/36th overall according to Sleeper. Currently RB19/36th overall in sleeper ADP. Last year he was 4th in total carries, 4th in red zone touches, and 15th in opportunity share at 62.6%. When he's in the game, the ball touches his hands. Although his passing usage is capped with the re-signing of JD McKissic and spending a 3rd round pick on Brian Robinson, we have no worries about Gibson's usage for this coming season. His current ADP suggests that he’s a value, so buy the proverbial “dip” before casual drafters drive up the price!”
