⛽️ Zay Flowers: Money Down Target Hog 🔥

News Desk, Trinity Tracker & More

Four years ago, I had a simple dream to start a podcast, and little did I know that this humble beginning, right in my then 2-year-old's toy room, would evolve into something truly special.

Destination Devy has been a fantasy community staple for over four years. Y'all know prospect identification and evaluation is the name of the game in dynasty fantasy football. Destination Devy is the place to be to get ahead and stay ahead of your league mates.

Founded by Ray G, we aim to give you actionable and some of the most entertaining football content on the planet. Dynasty fantasy football is a game of chess, not checkers. The more you know about college prospects and upcoming classes, the better equipped you will be to position your dynasty rosters for short and long-term success. Tap into the best community for that below! Enjoy!

Digging into NFL Week 2

Every Week, We will share a few nuggets of information that could help you identify a potential situation to help with either a fantasy lineup or a prop bet. All Data is retrieved from MB Fantasy LIfe’s Utilization Report Tool.

Stat #1- Josh Allen has a 77% completion percentage

Although it is easy to remember the three interceptions on MNF against the Jets, Josh Allen has been the most accurate quarterback through two weeks. While he may not be able to keep up this pace, Allen has mentioned taking more of what defenses give him. Keep this in mind when looking at reception props for the Bills’ skill players, most notably WR Stefon Diggs.

Stat #2-Kyren Williams saw 97% of the Rams’ Backfield snaps.

Last week, before the 1 p.m. games started, we got word that Cam Akers would be a surprise inactive. This left Kyren Williams as the lead running back, and boy did he deliver. Williams produced, and fantasy managers who had him on their rosters were appreciative of the 100 total yards and two TD efforts. The Rams did not bring in anyone to compete with Williams, and we should expect solid performances in 2023.

Stat #3-Zay Flowers has seen 47% of his 3rd/4th Down targets.

The rookie wide receiver has instantly changed the Ravens’ offense. After his big week one performance, Flowers followed that up with another solid week against the Bengals. He has become a favorite of Lamar Jackson, and it shows that 47% of his targets are coming on money downs. This is second to only Deandre Hopkins. Be on the lookout for Flowers’ receiving props.

Stat #4- Zach Ertz is commanding a 31% Target Share

It was almost a sure thing many of us were out on Zach Ertz for the 2023 season after that terrible tear in his ACL. He proved us wrong and has been a valuable safety blanket for Joshua Dobbs. Will he sustain this level of play? Not sure. However, he is not someone we should completely write off and watch for props across the season.

Bonus Stat-Rams Trailing pass percentage is 78%

We have been enamored by the insane start of Puka Nacua, and one reason is this stat. The Rams have been behind quite a bit early on. The production of Nacua, Atwell, and Williams will be because of the health of Matthew Stafford and the Rams being behind in many games. Puka for 100 Yards is +350 on DK, you may want to consider this when playing the Bengals on Monday Night.

Trinity Tracker Week 2

Every week, Jordan Backes produces this report for the Destination Devy Patrons. In order for a WR to achieve “Trinity” status, they must be in the 70th percentile in Target Share/Air Yard Share and YAC per reception. The concept of the tracker is to help identify players who we may want to acquire in our leagues. Ray explained the process behind the WR Trinity in a video over on the Destination Devy YouTube page before the season.

Many will recognize players like Justin Jefferson, Ceedee Lamb, and Garrett Wilson. However, the tracker will also identify potential hopefuls like Michael Pittman, Nico Collins, and George Pickens. We understand not everyone will be able to get a Justin Jefferson or a Ceedee Lamb, but Nico Collins, Jayden Reed, and even Puka Nacua are still options.

Stay tuned next week to see who potentially rises onto the tracker, who flashed in the pan early, then dropped off.
